Growing Evidence of Change In Classrooms
The Teaching Practice began by delivering pilot professional-development sessions with schools in Uganda. These sessions provided opportunities to test materials, listen to teachers, study the challenges schools prioritise and refine a professional-learning model centred on active participation and immediate classroom application.

WHY THE TEACHING PRACTICE?
Pilot Programme Story
The Teaching Practice launched with pilot workshops in Uganda to refine its approach by gathering direct feedback from diverse educators. These initial sessions focused on practical classroom strategies, including effective questioning, student engagement, and classroom management. Participants highlighted the value of active practice, clear real-world examples, and deep exploration of single concepts over quick summaries.
Most importantly, the pilot proved that sustained, practical professional development creates the greatest impact in under-resourced schools. These insights now directly drive the organization's scalable partnership and affordability models today.
